Hey guys, first time poster here. I'm looking to achieve the following:

I want to be able to browse presets (aka go back and forth in the currently loaded preset folder) without having to reach for my mouse or trackpad. I was able to achieve this in Serum by mapping the corresponding CC value to two buttons on my Launchkey Mini Mk3. Is this possible in Synplant as well, or is there perhaps a better solution?

I have the newest version of Synplant installed and I am on MacOS if that is relevant at all. Thanks!

You can open the file dialog, which will bring up the OS file open browser. With that you can select a file in the dialogue still open and already play the preset. With that you can e.g. skip to the next preset with the arrow down key and play the preset on your midi keyboard.

Thanks for the tip! So I guess there's no cc for "next/previous" preset.

You can MIDI map a Program Change device's previous/next buttons.
It works great!

Just keep in mind that Synplant has a weird 16 Program Change limitation.
I've been requesting a regular 127 slots for years, that will probably never happen :/

If you need more than 16 presets to scroll through, you can have several Synplant instances.

Each instance can have its own MIDI Program List, and this way you could overcome the 16 slots limitations
